GK-12 City as Lab

The Brooklyn College GK-12 project, funded by the National Science Foundation from 2007 to 2013, placed science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) graduate students into public high schools in Brooklyn. The GK-12 fellows and high school science teachers engaged high school students in challenging projects designed specifically to stimulate their interest in science and engineering.
